Welcome to our offices based in South Burlington, Burlington, and Milton, Vermont. Timber Lane Pediatrics has been providing pediatric care in the Burlington area for over 50 years. We continue to dedicate themselves to the health and care of infants, children and adolescents from birth through age 22. We belong to Primary Care Health Partners, an organization of independent primary care offices in Vermont and northern New York.
Coronavirus/COVID 19 Information
As of Tuesday, March 17th, 2020, we have suspended our walk-in hours and are converting all in-person office visits to telehealth video visits. We believe that this is the safest way to deliver healthcare to your family during this rapidly changing situation. At this time, we plan to conduct both well and sick visits by video through Monday, April 6th. This plan may be modified based on recommendations from the CDC and Vermont Department of Health. If you have an appointment in the near future, we will call you to explain how our video visits work. If your child is sick, call the office and we will determine if a video visit is appropriate. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE - CALL INSTEAD. See below for more information on COVID-19 and how to do a video visit.
If you believe your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
If you or your child have fever and respiratory symptoms (cough and/or shortness of breath), call our office for advice on supportive care and whether testing is recommended. Do NOT come to the office.
We CANNOT test for COVID-19 in the office. If you suspect your child has COVID-19 but is not significantly ill, he or she does not need to be seen by a medical provider and you can provide supportive care at home.
Video Visits - How To
In an effort to keep our patients and staff safe, Timber Lane Pediatrics is now offering telehealth video visits for both well and sick visits. We will delay vaccines for a few weeks until we can resume in-person visits. Telehealth video visits will be billed the same way that regular office visits are billed. Please call our office during regular business hours if you are interested in arranging a video visit. You will need:
1) The name of your cell phone carrier (Sprint, Verizon, etc.)
2) An Internet browser that is NOT Internet Explorer. Google Chrome works well. If you would like to download it, see directions here.
3) Your child's most recent temperature and weight if possible.
4) If you have an iPhone, you will need to click to "Allow" access to your phone's microphone and camera when asked.
What To Do If You or A Family Member Are Sick with Suspected COVID-19
If your family needs help with food, baby formula, diapers, or financial support during this time, call Vermont 2-1-1 (dial 211 from any phone) or call our office to get in touch with our social worker.
Weekday Walk-In Hours
As of 3/16/2020 we have temporarily suspended walk-in visits and all in-person visits at our offices due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Please call if you are concerned your child is ill and we can determine if a video visit is appropriate. We CANNOT test for COVID-19 in the office and there is currently no treatment. If you suspect your child has COVID-19 but is not significantly ill, he or she does not need to be seen by a medical provider. Thank you for your understanding.
