Welcome to our Patient Education page!

Our team of professionals and staff believe that informed patients are better equipped to make decisions regarding their child's health and wellbeing. For your personal use, we have created an extensive patient library covering an array of educational topics, which can be found on the side of each page. Browse through these diagnoses and treatments to learn more about topics of interest to you. Or, for a more comprehensive search of our entire website, enter your term(s) in the search bar provided below.

As always, you can contact our office to answer any questions or concerns.

CDC.gov (www.cdc.gov) is your online source for credible health information and is the official Web site of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CDC is committed to achieving true improvements in people's health. CDC applies research and findings to improve people's daily lives and responds to health emergencies—something that distinguishes CDC from its peer agencies. Working with states and other partners, CDC provides a system of health surveillance to monitor and prevent disease outbreaks (including bioterrorism), implement disease prevention strategies, and maintain national health statistics. CDC also guards against international disease transmission, with personnel stationed in more than 25 foreign countries.

CDC.gov provides parents with credible, reliable health information on:

  • Data and Statistics

As of Tuesday, March 17th, 2020, we have suspended our walk-in hours and are converting all of our in-person office visits to telehealth video visits.  We believe that this is the safest way to deliver healthcare to your family during this rapidly changing situation.  At this time, we plan to conduct both well and sick visits by video through Monday, April 6th.  This plan may be modified based on recommendations from the CDC and Vermont Department of Health.  If you have an appointment in the near future, we will call you to explain how our video visits work.  If your child is sick, call the office and we will determine if a video visit is appropriate.  PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE  - CALL INSTEAD.
