Our history dates back to 1962, when Dr. J. Ward “Jim” Stackpole opened his pediatric practice in Burlington.  He was soon joined by Dr. John  “Jack” Murray and Dr. Richard “Dick” Narkewicz (who served as AAP President from 1987-1988) to form Pediatric Associates. They practiced for many years at 49 North Prospect Street. Many families who were patients at our original practice now bring their own children and grandchildren to our practice.

In 1973, Pediatric Associates combined with a number of other local medical practices to build Timber Lane Medical Center and moved the practice to our current office at 51 Timber Lane. 

In 2000, we  joined with other Vermont and northern New York primary care practices to create Primary Care Health Partners (PCHP).  Also in 2000, we opened our Burlington location in the New North End.

In 2016, we opened our Milton office.

We have been fortunate to have had so many wonderful pediatricians be part of our group over the years.

Dr. Sara Quayle joined Timber Lane Pediatrics in 1987 and retired in 2016.

Dr. Barbara Kennedy joined TLP in 1994 and retired in 2021.

Dr. Thom Bolduc joined us in 2013 and retired in 2023.

Every one of us enjoys serving our patients and remains committed to excellence in care throughout the continuum of infancy, childhood and adolescence. We as a practice strive to carry on the tradition of child health advocacy, and we continue to take an active role in shaping the future of healthcare and in the education of the next generation of providers.
