We at Timber Lane Pediatrics believe strongly that vaccines protect children's health and are safe.

We believe all children should receive the vaccine schedule developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

We strongly recommend against partial and delayed vaccination schedules. Infants and children who follow partial or delayed vaccination schedules are at greater risk of infection, disease, and death and put vulnerable community members at risk. Any additional office visits needed for partial or delayed vaccination schedules will be scheduled with a provider to allow appropriate time for discussion. Parents who decline or delay vaccinations will be required to sign a “Refusal to Vaccinate” form stating they understand the risk this decision poses both to their child and the community.

Families who decide not to vaccinate their children or significantly delay their child’s vaccines may be asked to find another health care provider. We generally do not accept new patients who are unvaccinated except in extenuating circumstances.
